Brighton Beach

As summer holidays draw to a close that, ‘back to school’ feeling is upon us.

The summer months have flown and we have found some time to recharge our batteries. We left our passports at home and rediscovered the great British holiday and everything our fantastic city has to offer. From a bite to eat at Shelter Hall, or a picnic at Centenary Park, to a play at Brighton Open Air Theatre and for those that were inspired by the Olympics, a game of volley ball at Yellowave, we have revisited projects we are proud to have been involved in and in the process found that our city offers something for everyone.

But it hasn’t been all play. Our office has reopened with a new layout that will allow more of us to work safely and collaboratively, something we have missed. And whether back in the office or at home our team has been busy working. From University, college and school based projects completed and ready to welcome back students to new exciting health care, residential and commercial ventures our team continues to deliver exceptional service and value to every project.

We have also been busy furthering our commitment to our community, environment and the circular economy and are delighted to be collaborating with Duncan Baker Brown. Working alongside the team at BakerBrown Studios we continue to explore ways in which mindful construction can become mainstream for all construction projects.

Last but not least we are thrilled to be welcoming back Duncan Green. Duncan joined MacConvilles back in November 2017 as an Architectural Technologist. In 2019 he left us to join an Architectural Practice and further develop his knowledge and skills before returning to us this summer. We are delighted to have him back on the team.
