In the Teaching Block, the project team embarked on an internal remodelling process, transforming the existing dilapidated classroom block into a modern and functional space. By forming larger rooms and creating a new feature entrance, the block now boasts a contemporary design that sets the stage for an immersive learning experience. The refurbishment focused on accommodating new specialist wet and dry STEM laboratories and classrooms, complete with the necessary preparation and storage areas for chemicals, ensuring the students’ safety and facilitating their learning in a controlled environment.

The Clayton Block also underwent a transformation, focusing on creating modern and comfortable boarding areas. The project team installed specialist-designed, fully fitted bespoke bedroom furniture, enhancing the existing accommodation block. These additions provide a welcoming atmosphere and offer students a comfortable and personalised space to relax and recharge.

The success of the Ovingdean Hall refurbishment project highlights the synergy between thoughtful design, functionality, and the needs of the educational institution. Oxford International College Brighton will now have a revitalised campus, empowering students to thrive in their studies and reach their full potential. Through their exceptional work on the Teaching Block and Clayton Block, the project team has created a modern, student-centred learning environment, setting the stage for a brighter future for Oxford International College Brighton and its students.
