The DCMS/Wolfson Museums and Galleries Improvement Fund 2025–27 is now accepting applications, offering grants of up to £400,000 for capital projects at eligible museums and galleries across England. Applications must be submitted by 14 November 2025.
Run jointly by the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) and the Wolfson Foundation, this long-standing fund supports projects that:
- Improve the display and interpretation of collections in galleries and public spaces
- Enhance access for disabled visitors, children, young people, and underrepresented audiences
- Upgrade environmental controls, storage, and conservation facilities to protect collections
