MacConvilles are delighted that the project to create a new day centre for First Base at St Stephen’s Hall has been recognised by the Sussex Heritage Trust in their 2012 Awards.
St Stephen’s Hall, a Grade II listed building dating back to 1766, has been carefully adapted to provide a welcoming and functional space for the charity, which supports people experiencing homelessness. The project required a sensitive balance between preserving the building’s historic character and delivering modern, practical facilities.
This recognition highlights the collaborative effort to restore and repurpose a significant heritage asset while creating a valuable community resource that will have a lasting positive impact.
