Lady Bee: Dockside Development at Shoreham Port

Lady Bee Enterprise Centre at Shoreham Port.

MacConvilles have been a part of the Lady Bee project team from the outset, providing initial feasibility studies, cost planning and procurement advice, as well as leading the tender process. Always keen to see a job through from the very beginning to the very end, we are now undertaking post-contract duties such as cost reporting, contract administration, valuations and overarching project management roles.

The port is keen to maintain an eco-friendly status, with features such as PV panels to power vital facilities, electric car charging points, bicycle racks and recycling storage facilities on-site. They have also installed a number of water-saving measures.

Sustainability has remained central in the designing and construction of these units. From selecting materials to minimise their travel distance to site from recognised sustainable sources to creating designs with the intention of capturing the natural light and for flexibility in unit configuration.
