Community Kitchen Fit Out #GivingBack in 2018

Our year  got off to a flying start when the Food Partnership asked us for some help. When we heard about the plans they had to create a Community Kitchen we couldn’t wait to get involved. Calling on a few of our friends to form a dream team our Quantity Surveyors managed the project efficiently, delivering a kitchen fit for budding chefs.

The Food Partnership can now provide low-cost or free courses for local residents on limited incomes or with health issues.

Recognised in the RICS South East Awards our director of Quantity Surveying, Ben Coombs accepted the Community Benefit award for the Project on behalf of the whole team.

The RICS Awards celebrate the achievements and successes of RICS professionals and their impact on local communities, as well as the inspirational initiatives and developments the surveying industry contributes in. The awards are part of a global scheme to recognise outstanding workmanship within the surveying industry, something that MacConvilles always aspires to provide.

All professional and building services were donated free of charge #GivingBack
